C Sustainable Sunday Reverse Applique On Jeans Sun. Nov 16, 2025

2-5 pm with Michelle & Kelly

Create your own designer jeans using a reverse applique process and simple embroidery.

Basic hand-sewing skills required. This not a beginner hand sewing class.

Supplies needed

a pair of your jeans (maybe pick up a pair at a thrift shop if you don't want to cut up your favorite jeans)

optional (if you have them on hand)

small patches of fabric (5 x 5)

matching embroidery thread

The Sewing Center will provide, if needed

embroidery hoops and needles

embroidery thread

Registrants will receive a reminder email a few days before class.

North Florida Sewing Center 826 NW 23 Ave, Gainesville, FL 32609 We share space with Wesley United Methodist Church. Park on the west Side of the Church. Our Center is on the east side, near the playground. Go across the courtyard and follow the sidewalk to the right. The classroom is at the end of the hallway.
