Bring YOUR machine to class day! We are offering a class for machine owners who might need some assistance in getting started, or restarted, in sewing. Sewing machines have similar components but with unique aspects.
Each machine usually comes with a small set of accessories, such as bobbins, needles,etc. Please be sure to bring these accessories with you as they will be needed as part of the instructions.
This is NOT our regular beginner class but you will learn similar information. YOU will provide the machine and we will provide all other supplies.
You will learn about YOUR machine. We will have projects that will give you hands on experience with YOUR machine. Learn about different types of fabric as well as resources for purchasing/locating fabric, working with patterns, etc..
Bring your machine, accessories and instruction book (if you have one).
You will also need to bring basic sewing supplies - bring them in a small container (box, basket, tupperware,e tc.)to keep your space organized.

Hand sewing needles
Measuring tools: small rulers or seam guides
Spare machine needles
Tape
Pin cushion
Marking tools - chalk, disapperaing fabric pens
Thread

Sewing Center reminders:
For your personal safety, wear closed toe shoes. Feet attract sharp items, such as needles and pins
Long hair needs to be restrained.
Smoking is not permitted on the Church campus.
Students must be at least 12 years old to attend. Minors 12-16 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone taking the class as well.
Class fees are nonrefundable but can be transferred to another person or to a new date. Contact NFsewinfcenter@gmail.com if you need to make a change.
